I finished a full juice that’s mostly apples and half a glass of a stronger concoction my father cooked up. I got the jitters now. My body is not used to this amount or kind of energy. Its like the first time I has coffee but it doesn’t feel like a high of some kind. It feels like a pulse, skittering across my limbs. This worries me a little bit because the medication I take for my ADHD (Focalin) tends to cause rapid heart beats at unspecified interviews.
skank, skank, skank, skank.
So I have begun my juice fast again, and I am feeling confident yet afraid. I am confident because I know how to do it this time. I am afraid because I know if I just drop it, no one around me will give me any flack for it. It would be cool for someone to hold me accountable.
Anyhoo, one thing that is going to help this time is that I am drinking juice as opposed to smoothies. The smoothies were all I had last time because we had a blender not a juicer and were juice too much. I may be hyper-sensitive, but it felt like the seeds in that were just scraping my mouth and throat by the dawn of the third day.
I hope the title got The Specials stuck in your head. Have a nice day.

starting January 2nd I am going to try the juice cleanse again! Wish me luck!
lifeistoosimple asked: Glad you're doing the juice cleanse. I'm starting mine soon as well. xo
I am sad to say I pussied out on day 3. I will try it again someday though!
Good luck to you! Let me know how far you get because I want to bow down to anyone who can complete it! You will have god status!
I just watched “Fat, Sick, and Nearly Dead” for the first time with my parents. I think I want to try the juice diet, cleanse, or fast again. This time however; drink more smoothie and spend less time sitting around and waiting for it to work. Another mistake I made is trying to stay away from food and people eating. That kind of self-appointed isolation is not healthy and it made the cleanse feel unhealthy and wrong as a result.
You know what? Let’s try for a round two.
Coming soon: Son of Juice Cleanse- The Juice Cleanse Strikes Back.
Last night I fell off the juice cleanse. It was too much of a shock for my insides and I couldn’t take it. Its hard to explain how difficult it can be to live off of smoothies.
The reason I decided to go on the juice was that I am overweight. After two and a half days of the cleanse I am no longer overweight. However, I still want to lose more pounds (for vanity’s sake as well as for the sake of good health). You may have noticed that I changed the name of this blog to “Davis Culler Juice Diet”. I did this because most of my intake will still be smoothies and raw foods.
Here is my plan, and this can last much longer than a week so it is more beneficial: I am going to continue drinking three smoothies a day. Then I am going to end the day with a full meal. There is going to be no snacking in between, I am still going to drink WAAAY more water than I used to, and I am going to finish my day with a salad or some healthy vegetarian cuisine when possible.
Thank you to the handful of people who started following me these past three days. I hope you still look at this as someone’s attempt to change their life style for the better. I will continue to post my weight loss until I reach my goal of 140 lbs.
That whole jovial “yay I can do this” feeling I had this morning has completely evaporated. I have a headache and my stomach won’t stop growling. This is starting to feel unhealthy. But hey, they said the first three days are the hardest. Here’s to sticking it out.
lakesimon asked: Your weight loss is AWESOM!
I just had what some might call “a duh moment.”
I should be weighting myself!
Before I started this shindig, I weighted 171 lbs. Not very overweight but still enough to worry me. I just weighted myself on this WAY too high tech looking scale I found in my house. After two and a half days of the juice cleanse, I weight 162.4 lbs! I would say its working.
